Jeru The Damaja

Seine frühen Jahre verbrachte Jeru in Ost New York, Umgebung Brooklyn, wo er an sogenannten Block Parties rappte. Seine ersten beiden Alben wurden von DJ Premier produziert, jedoch verschwand Jeru kurz danach aus der Szene. Bis 1999, als er mit dem Album Heroz4hire zurück kam, und seine bisherigen Rap-Kollegen von Gang Starr (Guru und DJ Premier) verbal disste.
